In response to a September 6, 2024, post on The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property:
Dear Mr Gary J. Isbell,
In regards to Catholics in Ukraine and Russia, it sounds like you are greatly misinformed. Yes, during the Russian revolution nearly a hundred years ago, the Catholic Churches were indeed occupied and turned into storage houses by the revolutionaries. Nevertheless, God remained in the hearts of persevering believers, their families and the Church did not fall. In fact when ‘The Wall’ did fall, the Catholic church was immediately back up and running. The current Russian President Putin is of the Catholic faith and with Catholic backing has stood strong against the LGBTQ movement seen in the rest of this world. By this stance, it seems as if the Catholic Church is stronger in Russia than currently here in the USA.
Of course when I say Catholic, I am talking about the Church our Lord, Jesus Christ, started which has never failed and which includes what some call Roman Catholics as well as Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Antiochian Orthodox…and the Coptic Churches in Egypt and Africa. Please do not any further help evil misguide and divide the Catholic Church. God is moving to reunite the Church not further divide it.
With the Love of Christ in heart and mind,
Vincent Brechtel
